THE MCI HOLESHOT DRAW
DRAW TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. The draw is being carried out by Motorcycling Ireland (MCI) who will be the sole beneficiaries of the proceeds of the draw.
2. The main prize of the raffle is a €150,000 cash prize payable to the named owner of the first ticket drawn. There will be additional cash prizes as listed on the draw web site and these will be awarded to the holders of the subsequent ticket numbers drawn. There will be a maximum of 7,500 tickets sold.
3. The draw is open to all persons who are over 18 and have purchased a ticket between the opening date of ticket sales and the advertised closing date, except members of the MCI board and their spouses or anyone associated with the organisation or promotion of the draw and their immediate families.
4. Tickets are sold in Ireland, under Irish Law and in accordance with any regulations in place in Ireland, and can be purchased from any location worldwide as long as the purchaser is permitted to do so in their home jurisdiction.
5. The draw will be carried out electronically using a secure random number generator.
6. The licence to operate the draw was issued by Naas District Court on 13th March, 2024.
7. The draw will be held on Saturday, November 2nd, 2024.
8. The organisers of the draw reserve the right to cancel or amend the draw and these terms and conditions, without notice, in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the organiser’s control, including insufficient ticket sales to allow the prizes to be paid. If the draw is cancelled all ticket purchases will be fully refunded.
9. The organisers of the draw reserve the right to reduce the value of the draw prizes pro rata to tickets sales if the full number of tickets is not sold.
10. No responsibility can be accepted for entries or payments not received for whatever reason. Purchasers shall receive a confirmation of purchase and a 4-digit ticket-number within 24 hours of purchasing their ticket, which confirms their inclusion in the draw. Should any error occur in the processing of payment subsequent to the issuing of the ticket number, the purchaser shall be contacted by email to advise if the transaction has been voided.
11. The winner will be contacted through the means of communication they have provided and their identity will be verified within 14 days of the draw date. Their identity and location (town, county or country, as appropriate) shall be publicised once their identity has been verified. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and any images that may be taken at the prize-giving/hand-over, in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with GDPR and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
12. The operation of the draw and the conduct of the selection of the winning ticket on the draw date shall be independently observed and scrutinised by an independent audit firm. The draw will be held in public and members who have purchased a ticket shall be welcome to attend and observe the draw live. It is also intended that the draw will be streamed live via Facebook Live.
13. By purchasing an entry, the entrant is confirming his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
